As a kid, being grounded wasn't fun, but it was mom's way to align our behaviors to her expectations. In AI, curiously, grounding provides a way to align AI outputs to trusted sources of information. It is not surprising then, that #digitaltransformations are also being "grounded" - in this case through commitments like the Charter of Solfagnano, to ensure they prioritize #dignity, #inclusion and #empowerment of all persons society-wide. The law includes neurodivergence as a protected disability, but just over 16% of respondents told us that they would not mention neurodivergence when asked to report disabilities, while a further 17% weren’t sure if they would. Because of this self-identification gap, employers may think their employee base is less neurodiverse than they actually are.
