Well, budding technocrats from MNNIT-Allahabad, in collaboration with the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Club, have made this a reality. Equipped with advanced features like smoke sensors, anti-theft alarms, and alcohol detection systems, it ensures enhanced safety on the road. This cutting-edge e-bike called the 'Pegasus', boasts a top speed of 70 km/h and can travel up to 60 km on a four-hour charge. In case of an accident, it can even autonomously contact emergency services for help. Recently showcased at a competition organised by the Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers (ISIE) in Bhopal, this project earned MNNIT two awards: Best Design and the Future Award, securing a position among the top 10 teams nationwide.
