If we pay less attention to attendance, what should we pay more attention to? My answer to that is “almost everything.” Yes, almost everything else happening in a worship service is more important than how many people are in the room. We've seen ecclesiastical moves of the Spirit (focused on fixing things pertaining to Church, & that work continues). We're now seeing an emergence of existential moves of the Spirit (focused on using Church to fix things pertaining to God's Creation Order). Building great churches has never been the goal. The Kingdom is about building churches (people) that can be used to repair broken things (Isa. 61:1-4). #fromecclesiasticaltoexistential #KingdomHumanity
