Professor in Sexualities and Genders: Health & Well-Being National Teaching Fellow, Registered Nurse (Teacher)

Two pieces of wonderful news to share with you all from the University of Greenwich: I presented an "Articulation of Agreement" for approval, and it's been approved! We hardly run any sexual health courses these days, as there's no NHS CPD money for it. But equally, the gold-standard courses are run by the FSRH President for contraception (we now accept the #DFSRH as equal to 30 credits / level 6), and now, the new name for tariffing is this Articulation! We've just acknowledged 5 courses by BASHH with academic credit equivalence. So, Nurses and Sexual Health Advisors with these course can join relevant programmes at Greenwich and bring in up to 60 credits from BASHH totally free of charge! 1) STIF-Intermediate – 30 credits at Level 6 2) STIF-Advanced – 30 credits at Level 7 3) STIF-NHIVNA Intermediate – 30 credits at Level 6 4) STIF-NHIVNA Advanced – 30 credits at Level 7 5) STIF Health Advising 15 / 6 The second great achievement is getting permission to validate a brand new PGCert in Advanced Forensic Practice - for nurses, paramedics and allied HCPs working in the designated services ("custody", with Police Services, or Sexual Offences Services, e.g. havens / SARCs) Best job in the whole wide world! Building legacy! The British Association for Sexual Health and HIV (BASHH) #UKAFNP

Very good news- congratulations David. You have done so well to ‘restructure’ the programme, especially as it sounds like interprofession learning and practice is so relevant. All the best, Anthony
