Working with a mentor supplied by SAMPE Europe, show how you would improve the component’s present sustainability by proposing a route to reduce its environmental impact. Sustainability improvements can be in any area, and examples could include areas of reducing waste or embodied energy; improving design for disassembly; light weighting; reducing operations and maintenance; or extending the service life. Entries will consist of a 2-minute video outlining your proposal. In the first round the best teams will be selected to go forward to a LIVE FINAL. In this second round selected teams will be offered an impartial, industrial mentor to help prepare their presentation for the final event. Read the policy recommendations for sustainable mobility behaviour change methods the DyMoN project has recently published 📄 💡 The whole deliverable gives a detailed view of the evaluation of the Dynamic Mobility Nudge pilot demonstration in Salzburg, Austria, including statistical analysis of effects of situation-aware digital nudging and questionnaire feedback of participants. Extract from the blog: In what ways do you think Clear Skies Papermill Alarm demonstrates innovation? It was the first of its kind. The Papermill Alarm came to market in 2022 before there was any automated service dedicated to papermill detection. It's easy to see that this kind of scalable method is possible now, but at the time it wasn't clear and it took considerable testing and iteration to get there. From that initial market of 1, it has inspired numerous others to create their own papermill-detection services. Papermill Alarm is an early-warning system which is available as an API through a direct agreement, or via our partners at STM, Morressier, Kriyadocs and others (to be announced).

🔊 I presented my latest research today at Instytut Maszyn Przepływowych im. R. Szewalskiego, Polska Akademia Nauk (IMP PAN) on the topic of "Selection of working fluid and operating parameters for a refrigeration production system using low temperature waste heat" (🇵🇱"Dobór czynnika roboczego i parametrów pracy układu produkcji chłodu z niskotemperaturowego ciepła odpadowego"). This work is part of the COOLERHEAT project under the LIDERXIV programme, funded by Narodowe Centrum Badań i Rozwoju 🔍 In this study, five environmentally friendly working fluids (low GWP and ODP) were analysed in both single and dual fluid configurations. The results demonstrate that the system's efficiency (EEF) can reach up to 1, depending on operational constraints and configuration.
