Why am I always giving positive news? Why am I telling you to start your day with a little dance? FULL life my friends, life and time are ALL we have... We have plastics in the rivers and our blood. And I talk about new plastics that will solve that issue in 10-20 years. PHA, PEF, biodegradable plastics from thistles made by Novamont for instance. The big shift from chemistry to bio-chemistry. It will scale. Now. Or later. It IS happening... Evolution is on its way... We DO need positive news because no one will have the guts to do anything if they think it has no use. No one will have the creativity to create solutions with light and sonic when I don't tell you we are on the way to better. And we are... I love the designers who give us safe roads with illusion and light. You can make a road seem narrower than it is... It makes people drive more carefully. Design is ALL! Minimum materials and light is possible with minimum energy... In my recipes, I top it up with some water-cleaning roads (halophyte filter technology) and voila... Mutlifunctional roads that might not even need lamps and that clean the water... Inspired by... micro-algae that give light in the sea... and cleaning shells, membranes, and grits. It happens here in Holland on cycle paths... Van Gogh patterned cycle paths... Can you find YOUR creative flow today? And create one tiny part of the solutions? We therefore use large quantities of recycled wood in our production, and in doing so we give it a second life. Kaindl products can then also be recycled at the end of their useful life.⁠ ⁠ ♻️ 𝔼𝕔𝕠 𝕗𝕣𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕕𝕝𝕪⁠ 90 % of the raw material used to make Kaindl products are renewable and come from the regional timber industry. The grow in Austria's forests at a rate of one cubic metre per second. Sustainable forest management ensures that more wood is being regrown than is removed.⁠ ⁠ 🌍️ ℂ𝕝𝕚𝕞𝕒𝕥𝕖 𝕡𝕣𝕠𝕥𝕖𝕔𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟⁠ Our products are CO2-negative. Due to their high wood content they have an unbeatable life cycle assessment and make an active contribution to climate protection. One pallet of Kaindl flooring captures and holds approx. 700 m³ CO2. These seeds are rich in polyphenols and can serve multiple purposes beyond waste. **Fun Fact**: If you're a coffee lover, you can create a caffeine-free coffee substitute using date seeds! Soak, clean, and dry the seeds, roast them until crisp, then grind them into powder. Not only does this make for an energizing beverage, but it may also help lower LDL cholesterol and stabilize blood sugar levels. Moreover, date seeds can be used in animal feed, as a cocoa powder substitute in baking, or even in natural body scrubs and face packs!
