https://lnkd.in/esE5Ey_9 This is a Highly Complicated topic, but it comes down to $$$$$ which is fine, if these Colleges and Universities did not dictate who should be the "haves" and who should be the "have nots." I Support Individual Industry, Ability, Discipline and Gumption; but it still remains a "Closed Game" for all too many people. It's clear that these Institutions operate as a "Cooperative Monopoly" including HBCU's and they all (in one way, shape or form) are in receipt of Tax Dollars, especially through "Partnerships" with Corporations and Students receiving Government (Tax Dollars) Funded Loans. It's long past due to Modernize Testing and change a System that (no matter what anyone says) solely relies on Chalk and Talk...which is generally a One Way Street. This will only Roll Back the strides made for Neurodiverse and Neurotypical Students.

GOT PAY? Financial literacy among students and parents should ensure that debt will be repayable after graduation. Therefore, majors do matter in how much to pay for #highereducation. This also means that colleges and universities may need to charge differently for majors, which every other business does based on its offerings.

While some institutions may post attendance costs of over $100,000, few students pay the listed price, instead receiving financial aid to lower the cost through tuition discounting.
