Thanks for the great talk, Tõnis Arjus, August Kompus and leading the charge Tanel Talve We probably could talk for hours, as the topic is very complex yet interesting. 45min flying by showed that we are all very passionate about it. My main points to bring out are, ⏱️ We need patience, as change takes time, ⏩ We need brave market actors to lead the way, 🧞♀️ We need practical examples so people can experience the new status quo, 🌲 I can be optimistic as we have passionate people working on the topic. Build things that don't scale! Wait, why would anyone want that? I've been invited to a [CZ/SK] podcast with Tomáš Papež and Matúš Kocka where we explored the idea of leaders overestimating the need for scalability when product market fit has not yet been reached. As technical leaders, it's far easier to make systems scalable for thousands of customers than ever to talk to the first one. Because technology is our passion, we invest 10X with little impact.
