📢 It's World Mental Health Day today! Why this is so important to us and how we provide mental health support at ELA... Today, October 10, we would like to remind you how important it is to take care of our #mental health - both in private and at work. In our often hectic working lives, we sometimes forget how important mental #balance is. Stress, overwork and a lack of breaks can affect our well-being. It is incredibly important to take time for breaks, talk openly about your feelings and maintain a good work-life balance. With the nilo.health app, we offer our colleagues free 1-to-1 sessions with psychologists, exercises, meditations, videos and much more. All strictly confidential, of course. Fittingly, the motto of this year's World Mental Health Day is “Mental Health at Work”. Let's all work together to create a working world where mental and psychological health is always a #priority! #WorldMentalHealthDay #nilohealth

🌍 World Mental Health Awareness Day 2024 🌱 Today, we take a moment to reflect on the importance of mental health in both our personal and professional lives. As we strive for success, it's essential to remember that our well-being is the foundation that supports our achievements. For me, enhancing my mental health is a multifaceted journey. I find joy and strength in spending quality time with family and friends, which nourishes my spirit and keeps my cup full. Additionally, I prioritise time in nature, allowing the tranquillity of the outdoors to recharge my mind. I also value moments of solitude for personal reflection, alongside my passion for crafting and creativity, which serves as a wonderful outlet for self-expression. I believe that prioritising mental health is not just a personal commitment, but a collective responsibility in our workplaces. How do you prioritise your own well-being? Let's share our strategies and inspire one another to cultivate healthier work environments. #MentalHealthAwareness #WellBeing #WorkLifeBalance #SelfCare #NatureTherapy #Creativity #MentalHealthMatters #LinkedInCommunity

Just living daily life can be challenging for many people with long-term health conditions. So adding exercise into the mix can often feel, not just hard, but near impossible. Fatigue, pain, restricted mobility and side effects from meditation can stop people from doing physical activity in their daily lives. Our research shows that almost half of people living with a long-term health condition, or a disability, said it stopped them from doing more physical activity in a typical week. We know that moving our bodies regularly can support good mental health and wellbeing. So we hope these stories inspire others to try taking #MomentsforMovement this Mental Health Awareness Week – and beyond. 💜 Read our blog on moving for your mental health with a long-term condition: https://bit.ly/4dx9pcm #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek

World Mental Health Day: Prioritizing Well-being at Work 🌍 Today, on World Mental Health Day, let’s remind ourselves of a fundamental truth: [ mental health is health—at home, at work, everywhere ] It is important to create an atmosphere where everyone feels seen, supported, and safe at work rather than just focusing on goals or deadlines. Mentally healthy workers are more resilient, creative, and engaged, and the advantages are mutual. As friends, coworkers, and leaders, we all have a responsibility to help eliminate the stigma, identify mental health issues, and create environments that put mental health first. "How are you really doing?" is a simple question that can often make a world of difference. We all flourish when we take care of one another, so let us make a commitment to empathy, comprehension, and action. #WorldMentalHealthDay #WorkplaceWellbeing #EmpathyInAction #MentalHealthMatters

🌍💚 Mental Health Awareness Day: Breaking the Silence 💚🌍 In a world where we often prioritize productivity and performance, we must remember that mental health is just as vital as physical health. It’s okay to not be okay, and seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Here are a few things I’ve learned on my journey: 1️⃣ Start the Conversation: Let’s create an open environment where we can discuss our mental health without fear of judgment. Small talk can lead to significant breakthroughs. 2️⃣ Prioritize Self-Care: Whether it’s taking a walk, meditating, or simply unplugging for a bit, find what works for you. Self-care isn’t selfish; it’s essential. 3️⃣ Support Each Other: Be there for your colleagues and friends. Sometimes, just knowing someone cares can make a world of difference. 4️⃣ Advocate for Change: Let’s push for mental health resources in our workplaces and communities. Together, we can create a culture that values well-being. Remember, you are not alone in this journey. Let’s lift each other up and break the stigma around mental health. 🧠💪 Let’s make mental health a priority today and every day! #MentalHealthAwareness #BreakTheStigma #BreakTheSilence #SelfCare #SupportEachOther #MentalWellbeing #YouAreNotAlone #Mindfulness #WellnessJourney #MentalHealthMatters
