The Circular Valley Convention is a new platform for the industrial circular economy. The new trade fair format covers the entire spectrum of the circular economy in all its dimensions and brings together decision-makers from companies, start-ups, research, politics and society in one place. The Circular Valley Convention presents the entire spectrum of circular solutions, strategies and business models for all phases of the circular economy across all materials and sectors. As an international convention, the Circular Valley Convention comprises conferences, an expo and events. It offers space for knowledge exchange and networking, promotes synergies and innovation. It teaches skills that make companies fit for the transformation to a circular economy. This makes it an important driver for the transformation to the circular economy of the future. The event is organised by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH in cooperation with the non-profit Circular Valley Foundation and with scientific support from Fraunhofer UMSICHT, a Fraunhofer CCPE Institute. For the transformation from a linear to a circular economy, cooperation between business, science, politics and the civil society is crucial. Cooperation between established companies and startups, but also among companies as such. Along existing value chains, across them, and beyond geographical borders.   We have made it our mission to connect the relevant stakeholders.   This will be evident at the Circular Valley Forum 2024 on November 15 at Historische Stadthalle Wuppertal. The event with key players from all fields will also focus on the cooperation projects we were able to initiate thanks to our partners. Cooperation projects in Chemicals, Batteries, Building Material, Automotive and Water.   They overcome national borders, specifically, between Germany and Belgium. 🌍 Today I had the exciting opportunity to attend the Circular Valley Congress at the Historische Stadthalle Wuppertal. As a master's student in sustainable management at the Schumpeter School, it was inspiring to see how innovative approaches are advancing the circular economy. But it was not like any other we'd done. It was focused on a Biobased economy! And here's how it went down... Students from all over the world had the chance to participate in solving real biobased problems that organizations encounter today. In teams, they methodically disected the cases from Biosintrum, Paques and INNODEEN® and formulated very creative and extensive answers. Different from the previous Green Business Challenges, these students only had three days to come up with their solutions! However, in these three days the future business developers showed an inspiring amount of work ethic and even worked until late in the evenings. And as for the cherry on top, the teams got the chance to present their ideas to the case owners and other professionals in the BioBizz Hub in Balk! Moderated by Tristan Hofman and with a special appearance of our keynote speaker Jaap Vogelaar, the event became a joy to watch! 🌿 So, why should you sign up as a case owner for the next edition of the Green Business Challenge?
