During my meeting in Bahrein at the Italian Embassy we discussed about international cooperation. My aim is to facilitate global peace, trade, development and the promotion of human rights. I do believe that international cooperation is a core life it is the real act of working together for a common purpose. To achieve this we need to share knowledge, resources and financial mechanism to overcome barriers such as lack of capitals and good governance. The international cooperation require always to have a cross- cultural understanding and awareness of what's happening beyond borders. A good comunication always helps to resolve issues and to achieve a common goals. #politics #international #cooperation #MenaRegion. #Europe #development

** Celebrating Europe Day: A journey of unity and progress ** As May 9th swiftly approaches, we stand on the threshold of a significant day in European history – Europe Day, an annual celebration marking the Schuman Declaration of 1950, the cornerstone of the European Union as we know it today. The European Union has grown from its original six founding members – Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands – to encompass 27 member states, fostering cooperation, collaboration, and peace across the continent. From a legal standpoint, the European Union plays a central role in shaping laws and policies that affect the daily lives of its citizens. The EU has its own legal system, which includes regulations, directives, and treaties that govern various aspects of European integration, such as trade, competition, environmental protection, and human rights. For businesses operating in Europe, understanding EU law is essential for compliance and success in the single market. As we anticipate Europe Day tomorrow, let us reflect on the journey of European integration and the values it represents. In the face of challenges, let solidarity and cooperation guide our path forward, ensuring a brighter future for all Europeans. Let's unite in celebration of our shared heritage and commitment to a prosperous, peaceful Europe. #EuropeDay #EUHistory #EULaw

📝 As member states vie for top jobs in the new EU commission, no one seems to care about International Cooperation - Euronews describes the role as "the kind commissioners are warned they’ll get if they misbehave." The allocated money is already spent (much on Ukraine - https://bit.ly/448TPzt) and overarching guidance is already set by the Global Gateway. Commissioners "will get good air miles and Instagram content, but not much else." But that doesn't mean the EU's approach to international cooperation is static. Much has been churning beneath the surface that's only beginning to bubble up now. This year, we interviewed senior European figures to clarify these subterranean shifts and offer insight into where the EU is going next for international cooperation.
