There will be no sustainable development without migrants and refugees, especially without monitoring the targets of SDG 3.8 (Achieving Universal Health Coverage) and SDG 10.7 (Facilitating orderly, healthy and responsible migration of people). This is why this ending week, I attended the Fifth WHO Global School on Refugee and Migrant Health with the following agenda : Day 1 - Primary Healthcare (PHC) Inclusive of Refugees and Migrants. Day 2 - Managing Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) across the Migration Cycle. Day 3 - Including Migrants in Comprehensive Health Financing Strategies. Day 4 - Closing the Gap Between Research and Policy Making to Better Address Migrant Health Needs. Day 5 - Universal Health Coverage Throughout and Beyond Refugee and Migrant Health Emergency Crises.

Honored to have attended the 5th WHO Global School on Refugee and Migrant Health hosted in Colombia! Key takeaways: 1. Universal Health Coverage (UHC) is crucial for ensuring healthcare access for all, including refugees and migrants. 2. Emergency services must have provision for continuity of care, supporting the transition to UHC. 3. Evidence-based policies and research-driven actions are vital for improving healthcare access. 4. Regional financing mechanisms can support UHC goals. Let's work together towards achieving Universal Health Coverage for all! #HealthMigration
