Start-ups, innovators, collaboration. There is so much potential around us, if we only manage to look for it. In April, Equinor took part, and engaged in the Impact Awards in our own backyard in Stavanger, Norway. It is an event to honor and strengthen the ecosystem for startups and scale-ups in the Stavanger region, by promoting local start-up companies, entrepreneurs, and already excelling companies, working to identify technologies for the future. A company like Equinor, with its sheer size and complexity, can be quite daunting and difficult to get through to for a small start-up. By showing presence in selected innovation ecosystems, in regions where we have business activities, we aim to bridge the gap between big and small. Impact Awards is a strong match with Equinor’s ambition to take on a leading role in the energy transition. A prerequisite to get there, is to solve problems faster, accelerating the transition.
