If so, beware of offers that promise competitive pay but fall short. Remember, ₹2-3 thousand for every hour of deliverable is not competitive. It’s peanuts. Stand up for the value of your work and SAY NO to undervaluing your skills. To all the Agencies searching for Sound Designers: If you seek "Hollywood-like Audio quality," be ready to invest in it. Keep in mind that Netflix doesn't pay ₹6-9 thousand for audio post-production on a 3-hour movie. Quality work deserves fair compensation. #SoundDesign #PostProductionSpecialists #FairPay

Dream job for the right person

When I worked at a music TV channel, one of my responsibilities was editing weekly concerts filmed with five or more cameras. It was during this time that I developed a love for multi-camera editing due to its dynamic nature and variety of shots. Although editing interviews doesn’t have the same level of dynamism, the technical aspect of switching between shots is similar. The skills I acquired while working in television now allow me to focus on the content and take on the role of both video editor and text editor. #multicamediting #podasct #interview #videoeditor #Youtube

IMAGINE YOU ARE THE CEO... WHAT DO YOU DO? Your video creation team is one guy... he sets up, scripts, shoots, edits and schedules all videos himself. That one person hates editing video and is very slow at it. As the CEO, do you 1) Make him pivot to only live streaming and short form video to remove 99% of the editing? 2) Hire an editor (your budget is small - hence the one bloke department)? 3) Something else?
