I got a behind-the-scenes look at Nathan Latka and Founderpath’s $10,000+ webinar set-up this week. It was nothing short of amazing. 3 key highlights: 1) The value: the team got over 500 Founders onto a call, and had 3 incredible speakers—Adam Robinson, Wes Bush, and Guillaume Moubeche, drop insane levels of value on them. 2) The set-up: Nathan has a huge LED wall displaying webinar attendees, with 3 professional DSLRs for streaming the broadcast (and that’s not even mentioning the lighting setup). 3) The growth strategy: They run one MASSIVE webinar every month and they funnel everyone to this one event (plus a yearly event SaaSOpen → Sept 5-6, NYC). Nathan’s genius behind this event is that he’s building a monument. He builds a huge attendance list that’s always visible on LinkedIn. Anyone seeing this ‘monument’ sees the staying power FounderPath has in the market. I thought it was a fascinating social proof hack to show a strong presence. Anyway, this is a great marketing strategy a lot of people either discount or neglect altogether. These guys are making it work. So grateful I got to see it! And got to meet a few other amazing people behind the scenes: Cole Martin Andy Mewborn!

AgTech Friends (in the Bay Area or visiting!) - see below for an in person get together that Sachi Desai, Rhishi P. and I are co-hosting in a couple of weeks. We are excited to get everyone together live so we can catch up in person and share what's going on with everyone and with AgTech. We have a lot of fun talking about the space and thought getting a bigger group together once in a while would be even more fun - especially based on occasions where we get to do so like World Agri-Tech and World Ag Expo. I think Sachi may have been taking some Founder Mode (All In podcast joke for those that missed last episode) - this won't quite make it to 2000s really dope rave status (not that I would know - I had either 4 or 5 kids in the 2000s ...) I think of it more as How I Met Your Mother meets Big Bang Theory over dinner, where AgTech geeks get to be the cool kids for a night! For those old enough to remember MUGs (Macintosh User Groups), that's the vibe I think we're going for but our Fat Mac (256k - who could need more?) has been replaced by autonomous tractors and super cool gene editing tools! If you're too young to remember MUGs, Google will handle your questions (they were awesome) - just come and have fun! Having reached my exclamation point quota, I will sign off ...
