The challenge: How To Build A Capable, Scalable, Reliable, and Secure Software System In Just One Day. Our goal is to address a universal challenge for development teams: reducing the time spent on complex, generic infrastructure to instead focus on creating unique, user-centric features. 🚀 Excited to share our journey at Google’s Hack4Change Hackathon! 🚀 We competed with brilliant minds from across India and proudly made it to the Top 300 teams! 🎉 Our team developed Elysium, a software prototype that assists individuals in real-time with their overseas journey—from booking to handling all their final arrangements. We couldn't pull the LLM integration using Ollama but still managed to fine tune it upto some extent! Despite the complexity of the features and time constraints, we built a working prototype! Unfortunately, we couldn’t integrate an LLM due to a lack of server and paid cloud services, but we still pushed through to reach the semifinals! 💪 This journey has been an incredible learning experience in terms of teamwork, resilience, and innovation. We’re excited to take Elysium to the next level in the future! Here's a link to our project's UI, feel free to check it out! https://lnkd.in/de-ViF2G #Hack4Change #Elysium #Innovation #Tech #Teamwork #AI #Learning #OverseasJourney #FutureGoals

The past months have made me feel like a beginner again... We're three months into this year, and I thought I'd share a little update. First, I wanted to thank all the cool people I've met here so far. Really appreciate the insights and conversations we had! Regularly engaging and posting on this weird platform has certainly helped me challenge my ideas. Besides, I had the chance to explore new areas: starting to work on our own little product with Marvin and giving Storyblok a first try with Anthi. Both were fun, yet I soon realized that doing these things on the side has its own challenges, too 😅 Lastly, another semester at TechLabs Hamburg came just to an end. That means another great web app launched, built by tomorrow's web developers! More on that soon 👀 As much as I have learned, the last months have also been a bit all over the place. So, looking forward to having a more focused and balanced spring ☀️ That doesn't mean I stop posting, however. Some cool content on product engineering and building MVPs is coming your way! 🛹 ___ How do you make time to explore new topics?
