Happy to be part of the team conducting a research on the role of urban forest in climate change mitigation at the Copperbelt University school of Natural Resources.  Of course the urban forest plays a role in climate mitigation but in what way, are there urban tree species that capture more carbon than other species or some don't even capture a bit? How well can we run these forests considering the fact that we need infrastructure development in the urban areas? These plus more questions needs to be answered and there is need for more research, more mitigation & adaptation action, and less of the empty talks... #ClimateAction #Climate_Change_Research

🌍 Excited to share that I’ve just completed a course on the integration of adaptation processes! This course deepened my understanding of how vertical integration connects national and subnational adaptation strategies, while horizontal integration occurs across sectors. These concepts are crucial for developing effective and comprehensive climate adaptation plans that can enhance resilience at all levels.
