Although I live with my family in New York, I deeply love Italy for three important reasons, and I believe that Italians can still contribute a lot in a world that seems to have everything. The three main reasons are:
- Excellence at first. Italy is known for its pursuit of quality. The term "Made in Italy" is recognized globally, and it is a commitment to delivering only excellent quality products. This principle applies to various sectors, from fashion to luxury, from manufacturing to pharmaceuticals, and beyond.
- Secondly, Italians are passionate and express their emotions naturally. This attitude is different from countries that value a cool and impassive demeanor, but it is a healthy way of relating to others.
- Thirdly, there is a deep-rooted commitment to family and community in Italy. Despite the challenges, families and communities come together, unifying generations. Families eat together at the dinner table, and friends still meet in person, not just virtually. The sense of belonging to one's local area retains its importance.
Overall, Italy's commitment to quality, passion, and family and community ties is admirable and worth emulating.
With respect for all inhabitants of the Earth.
