According to the ACCI, the automotive industry is expected to exceed $50 billion by 2030. Interestingly, this sector alone accounts for over 50% of global rubber consumption. As a result, major African rubber producers should prioritize implementing a strategic intelligence framework to maximize their benefits from this industry. #CAVIE #IntelligenceEconomique #MarchésAfricain

In the second quarter of 2024, 𝗕𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗧 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺 prices in North America saw a significant rise due to multiple market forces. This increase was driven primarily by strong manufacturing demand and supply chain disruptions. The escalating cost of feedstock PET in April 2024 was a major contributor to higher production costs, which directly impacted BOPET film pricing. https://lnkd.in/gwY8pjC8 We've prepared a new video on packaging plastic cable tags using a budget-friendly weigh filling machine. A long-time owner of NOTIS packaging equipment approached us with a new challenge. They needed a budget-friendly solution for automatically packaging dowels and cable tags. The required throughput was just 5 packages per minute. While a multi-head weigher seemed like the best solution, there were two main considerations. Firstly, the multi-head packaging line was relatively expensive. Secondly, our client required a relatively low throughput. In such conditions, it wouldn't be feasible to recoup the investment in a multi-head weigher in the foreseeable future. We proposed a solution with our special high-precision linear weigh filler for piece products - two-cascade MDU-NOTIS-04M-2K-K. https://lnkd.in/grMAHaJm Click the link to know more! The flow on the lower cascade is split into a wide and a thin stream. The machine quickly gathers the majority of the dose, then slows down for precise topping up. As it nears completion, a special shutter closes off the wide stream, and the product only flows through the thin one. As a result, the two-cascade tray helps achieve accuracy down to half the weight of one detail.
