Thanks so much, Zito! I feel so fortunate to have been a part of your magic for even just an hour. Sometimes I have to pinch myself, because it is so fun and I learn so much during each podcast with the best of the best like Zito. A few key quotes from our podcast: "This is called Selling the Cloud, and so a lack of strategy will always impact how an organization sells..." "Even if you do have a strong product, but the market strategy is missing, then marketing, sales, services -- everything in the GTM -- is at best less effective, but very typically it's quite chaotic, with much whiplash." Joseph Zito discussed how without strategy, there's often a lack of product differentiation, and without that the GTM tries to make up for it with what I call the 'heroic selling' (which works once in a while, but not as a baseline expectation). We hope you enjoy the episode! https://lnkd.in/eWU3G-zK
The words 'strategy' or 'being strategic' are thrown around so often as to be nearly meaningless. I discussed this (and more) during my time on the Selling the Cloud podcast. https://lnkd.in/eRACVcJw This episode is Part 1 of 2. 🟩🟩🟩 Take 20 min 🟩🟩🟩 (or 15 min on 1.5x speed!) to listen and enjoy. KEY MOMENTS: [ 2:25 ] An independent Operating Partner (iOP) defined & expanded upon [ 4:35 ] How #CEOs get value from an iOP in helping them refine #Strategy & #Execution. [ 6:35 ] It's NOT Executive Coaching...how an iOP differs. [ 10:00 ] → Tracking momentum & progress in execution. → The intention of a strategy vs the strategy itself. → Scaling vs iterating vs abandoning strategies. [ 13:10 ] #Strategy or 'being strategic' #defined (6 elements) [ 14:40 ] #Challenges with Strategy [ 16:50 ] How a lack of Strategy impacts #Product & #Selling [ 19:10 ] The #process I use to help clients refine their strategy _____________________ Many thanks to Katerina Ostrovsky & Mark Petruzzi for inviting me to join them in this episode. Stay tuned for Part Two. In the meantime... Please: → #Share this episode → #Listen to other episodes → #Follow them and the podcast. 🟩🟩🟩🟩 ACTION 🟩🟩🟩🟩 If what we discussed resonated and you see the gaps in your own #Strategy & #Execution ▶️ REACH OUT ◀️ We can explore how an independent Operating Partner can help you refine both, impact #Product & #Sales and accelerate your #Outcomes with #Revenue, #Profit, and #People.

🎤 New Form3 .tech Podcast 🎤 Super excited to announce that we have just released a new Form3 .tech podcast on automated DR testing. In this episode I'm joined by two of my colleagues Viktor Peacock & Mike Tonks to discuss the approach we take to automated DR testing at Form3. In many companies DR testing is a one off task that is performed once per year, often the day after the test has been performed it is out of date because your code has changed from what was tested. At Form3 we have a different approach to DR testing where we have automated DR tests to simulate AZ failure, cloud failure, network failure etc and we assert that our platform can withstand those scenarios. Join the team to get a view under the covers as to how we achieve this. As always link in the comments!
