Consilience Group and NACCHO: Strengthening Health Equity in Local Health Departments Consilience Group is proud to partner with the National Association of County & City Health Officials (NACCHO) on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) National Initiative to Address COVID-19 Health Disparities. Through this initiative, we’re providing training and technical assistance to local health departments (LHDs) to enhance health equity capacity, focusing on underserved populations like racial minorities and rural communities. Our work aims to bridge critical gaps in healthcare systems exposed by the pandemic by supporting LHDs in applying ethical frameworks that center community voice and promote person-centered and inclusive practices.
