In June 2024, the #GBTAFoundation, in #collaboration with GBTA | Global Business Travel Association’s Sustainability Committee and with support from the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance, released the new #SustainableProcurement Standards for the #hotelindustry. The standards provide a library of #sustainability questions, aligned with international #sustainabilitystandards. Through this, GBTA and the Alliance aim to streamline the #procurementprocess, equipping #hotels to be better prepared to respond efficiently to procurement requests and ensure that #corporatetravelbuyers can assess the #sustainabilityefforts of #suppliers in a consistent and harmonised manner.
