Thanks Sempergreen Group for great discussions yesterday on how to establish green roof + solar as the standard on buildings in Europe! Europe adds about 500 million sqm new flat rooftop every year, about 3% is green, and a bit more of it solar. However, most new flat roofs are still empty, which is a pity with all the value they can provide to their owners and the urban environment! Great to have valuable input about the workings of the PV market in the Netherlands with OTG.energy - innovatie in duurzame energie and SamenStromen. It was an excellent event with a clear message: #energytransition is happening in Europe and #windenergy will be one of the key pillars combined with #storage. Competition is growing on all levels of the value chain and new (big) players are entering the European market Hope the legal and regulatory framework will be as fast as the industry! ContourGlobal will play a crucial role in this transition
Great week at WindEnergy Hamburg with my ContourGlobal colleagues meeting partners, suppliers, old friends and looking for new investment opportunities in the most promising European markets. Wind (WindEurope) and Solar (SolarPower Europe), combined with storage, are the pillars of energy transition and European independence from imported fuels, we are and we will continue being a part of it. Looking back at #KEY - The Energy Transition Expo 2024 in Rimini, #Italy. #PlanetSmartCity and its partners, EoT - Energy of Things, highlighted a palpable commitment to digital energy solutions for sustainable communities. The Expo, focusing on themes such as renewable sources of #energy and urban sustainability, highlighted two major emerging trends: the first was the considerable excitement around renewable energy communities, and the second was the crucial need for accurate energy monitoring #realestate. Adriano Bergese Product Manager for Energy Solutions at Planet, noted: "Our participation at KEY reinforced Planet's role as an innovative force in energy management.” Equipped with these insights, we look forward to building on this momentum at next year's event, scheduled for 5-7 March 2025, as we continue our journey towards sustainable real estate solutions. - KEY - Italian Exhibition Group / Giacomo Lanino / Giulio Troncarelli / Andrea Palisca / Filippo Naluzzi / Adriano Bergese / Massimo Vitali #innovation #digital #PlanetApp #energysolutions #sustainabledevelopment
