Anger and annoyance. Two emotions that can easily trigger the stress response. Rage rooms? Expressing anger? These are my thoughts on this episode of Pressure-Free Living with Elle I'm working on a chapter for my up-coming book The Pressure-Free CEO on over-identification, which can easily cause us to become angry, to fight, whether we are identifying to closely with our organizations, a team we cheer for, a group we belong to, a political cause, or even a perk we feel entitled to have. There is also enmeshment - where we over-identify with another person, like our child and their success or failure. Noticing whether or not you are triggering the stress response can allow you to choose your response rather than over-react. There was a great article on anger published by WSJ recently. I will put the link in the comments. #anger #performancecoach #elleingalls
