**Six-Month Check-Up** Having relocated over 25 Heritage Olive Trees in the last few years, I have gained valuable insights and experiences. For instance, the 147-year-old olive tree we recently moved from San Juan Capistrano to Woodland Hills is currently in the process of settling into its new environment. Ensuring consistent watering is crucial during this period. Once you observe yellowing of the leaves, it's time to reduce the watering frequency. This watering cycle should be maintained for approximately 12 to 18 months to aid in the acclimatization process. Caring for these trees is like a delicate dance—one that is truly rewarding for those fortunate enough to be their caretakers. With the privilege of caring for these magnificent trees also comes great responsibility. Not only do these trees come with a significant price tag ranging from $7,000 to $35,000, but they also bring with them a transformative energy and rich history that enriches their surroundings. As caretakers, we play a vital role in preserving and nurturing these living treasures for future generations to enjoy.

Thought for the Day - 18th July, 2024 :- In Life, Most of Us Spend Time Chasing Butterflies, and they always Fly Away. But If We Spend Our Life, Building A Beautiful Garden, then Many Butterflies Will Come by Themselves To Us and Stay for Long. So Don't Run after Butterflies, rather Build Gardens, i.e., Build A Legacy. #buildlegacy #lifeadvice

In the case of Bottleworks District, introducing new lifestyle hotels within an urban mixed-use development can significantly enhance its financial success by attracting a diverse audience and boosting local economies. A curated lifestyle hotel, like Bottleworks Hotel, typically appeal to millennials and younger travelers seeking unique experiences, positioning the hotel as the vibrant community hub of the district. By integrating dining, retail, and entertainment options, lifestyle hotels can draw not only tourists but also the locals, creating a steady stream of revenue throughout the day and night. Consistent foot traffic invigorates surrounding businesses, fostering an ecosystem that benefits all stakeholders involved. The Bottleworks Hotel does just that for the district. Furthermore, lifestyle hotels strive to emphasize design, technology, and sustainability, making them appealing in a competitive market. By aligning with current consumer preferences, the lifestyle hotel in a mixed-use district like the Bottleworks District commands higher room rates and occupancy levels compared to traditional accommodations which just don’t garner the same appeal and fit with the community. Additionally, their presence can elevate the overall brand of the mixed-use development, attracting more upscale retailers and service providers. This synergy between lifestyle hotels and other components of the development can create a self-sustaining economic model, where increased property values and enhanced visitor experiences contribute to long-term financial viability and community engagement. Hence the tremendous success of the Bottleworks District! See how RATIO Design can enhance your mixed-use development plans.
