2024 Has really been full speed ahead here at Lighthouse Drinks Just to give some background...We started Lighthouse Drinks with a humble 4-head filler machine in a small room, and today, our expansion has reached two massive warehouses and an incredible Polaris Automazioni srl bottling line. (might need another one very soon) From bottling just 2,000 bottles of whiskey a week, we now achieve an average of 60,000 to 100,000 bottles a month. This Year, we're on target to hit an incredible milestone: 1+million bottles! Our success is a testament to our amazing team, whose hard work and dedication have been instrumental in our continued growth. Together, we are supply our international/local customers with the finest finished products. Food solutions company SpartanNash has revealed its pending acquisition of Fresh Encounter, Inc. Inc. (FEI), a 49-store supermarket chain with locations in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. Owned by third-generation grocers Michael Needler Jr. and Julie Anderson, Findlay, Ohio-based FEI has been a food distribution customer of SpartanNash for 58 years. SpartanNash will continue to employ FEI’s 2,500 employees. The acquisition, which grows SpartanNash’s retail footprint by 33%, is the company’s second retail acquisition of 2024, following the purchase of Metcalfe’s Market this past April. The FEI deal is consistent with SpartanNash’s strategy and will contribute toward the growth and earnings goals shared in its 2025 long-term plan, according to SpartanNash CEO Tony Sarsam. Haith Group and MH Poskitt, two of the most successful companies in food production, will be celebrating 65 years of working together in December 🤝 Haith, which manufactures vegetable handling equipment, first worked for MH Poskitt in 1959 when Geoff Haith provided repair services to Mark Poskitt. At the time, Poskitt was growing around 1,000 tonnes of carrots annually. Today, this has increased by 70,000 tonnes per year. The company also grows parsnips and potatoes, all of which are processed on the family farm in Kellington, Yorkshire, and supplied to leading supermarkets and food service companies. Haith’s managing director, Duane Hill, is proud of the company’s relationship with MH Poskitt. “We want to establish long-term relationships with our customers and help them become successful.
