Call for Papers Joint Euref and EuroSDR Workshop On How To Increase Use Of Spatial Data & Sharing Data Across Borders - Relating To Reference Frames 22-23 October 2024, Tromsø, Norway Join this co-organised workshop between EuroSDR and Euref in an arctic atmosphere under the northern lights to discuss how best to simplify usages of geospatial data in relation to reference frames and geospatial infrastructure. The main goal is to simplify the usage of geospatial data, deal with multiple EPSG codes at a national level, and handle datasets that straddle international borders. Don't worry, you can catch up the session on the EDMO BELUX’s YouTube channel 🎬 ➡ https://lnkd.in/d5M3yc4K   This time, it was up to Martin Culot, from Média Animation ASBL, and Tatiana Debrabandere, from the Conseil supérieur de l'éducation aux médias to discuss the results of #Generation2024, a survey on the digital practices of kids and teens in French-Speaking #Belgium.   The survey was conducted between October and December 2023. It gathered responses from over 3,700 primary and secondary school students, exploring various facets of their digital lives and #digitalhabits. The survey provides quantitative and comprehensive data on young people’s actual uses of digital technologies, including their access to news and disinformation. On July 26, IfADo researchers will present results of their work on the FELICE Horizon 2020 Project at the AHFE 2024 International Conference. The main focus of their presentation will be the focus group surveys they conducted with both users and developers to learn more about the requirements of successful human robot collaboration. 👨🔧🤝🤖 The participants discussed the requirements and possible challenges for successful HRC using the example of a handover task. Both focus groups emphasize usefulness, reliability, and safety as (the most) important criteria for successful collaboration.

🚶♀️ 🚴♂️ 🏇 DLR – Institute of Transport Research at the IATBR International Conference on Travel Behavior last week:   Our colleagues had successful contributions and a great time at the #IATBR2024.   💭 💪 We were the main organisers of the workshop "From imagination to implementation: The evolution of user preference research for automated vehicles in real-world operations", co-organised by Dimitris Milakis and other experts in the field Yoram Shiftan, Amanda Stathopoulos, Elisabetta Cherchi & Barbara Lenz. One takeaway: We need to align our research in order to increase the comparability of user preference research.   👩🔬 💻 Dr. Viktoriya Kolarova & Ilka Dubernet presented "Empirical insights on residential location and mode choices of commuters depending on household type and teleworking options" - results from an empirical study that was part of the Mobitat 2050 project.
