As a working mom, I have to buy my village and I feel ZERO guilt about that. This was the advice that a working mom friend told me that has stuck with me. The amazing ladies helping with laundry, grocery shopping, errands, animals, and childcare are MY village, and I truly would be suffocating without them. We have got to stop expecting the same thing out of working moms and stay at home moms. Because YES, they are both jobs and careers, but they are two completely different jobs and careers. Love this! A fellow female founder once told me “delegate to the floor” and ever since then I’ve felt zero guilt in outsourcing whatever possible as it allows focus on the true priorities.
