WHY You Should STOP Reckless Pricing! For some restaurants, changing price is usually the last resort for survival. But for many others, this is like a daily routine. We have mentioned this before. It is not everytime you purchase ingredients at increased cost that you CHANGE menu prices! We understand the economy is terrible at this point but this is the point your managerial capacity is most needed. Most times you do these things without collecting quality feedback from frontline workers on customers reactions. Our Restaurant Structuring team listen to employees a lot in the field, from full structuring to sales and business development and so, we speak from a place of very deep daily experience. If you are good on COSTING, you will understand that some changes on ingredients cost actually amount to negligible effects on the menu items after production. What then do you do? ------------------------------------------ Always find the other alternative first. You may consider reviewing your recipes, creating new potions, making the item "affordable" not "cheap" and of course if eventually you have to change prices... DO NOT be deaf to complaints, always make yourself available to appeal to customers.
