𝐃𝐚𝐲 5 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝟏4 (𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤) 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧! Clean water and healthy ecosystems are essential to thriving communities, and the Junction Creek Stewardship Committee works tirelessly to restore and protect the Junction Creek watershed. Thank you to the JCSC team for your dedication to environmental stewardship. Your passion inspires us to do our part for the planet, which is why our team will once again be volunteering with Junction Creek in 2025. Environmental nonprofits like the JCSC often face significant funding challenges. Compared to sectors like health or education, they receive fewer charitable donations and less corporate/government funding. Many grants are also short-term or project-based, making it harder to sustain ongoing research and conservation efforts. Today on #WorldRiversDay , let's come together to protect the lifeblood of our planet—our rivers. 🌊 As a proud member of #MilwaukeeRiverkeeper ’s community, you play a vital role in protecting our waterways, from the #MilwaukeeRiverBasin to #LakeMichigan. Healthy, clean waterways are essential to all life—they sustain our ecosystems, provide recreation, and support our communities. #EarthGivesDay was created to address a critical gap: less than 2% of all charitable donations currently go to #environmental and #climate causes. This isn’t enough to drive the impactful change our planet desperately needs. By starting your own fundraiser, you’ll directly support our mission to restore and safeguard these precious resources for generations to come. Make a difference for our rivers today >> https://buff.ly/3ZhQihI Earth Gives

This holiday season, we are planting trees on behalf of our employees, clients and partners to make a meaningful contribution to the planet. Through a $10,000 charitable donation to One Tree Planted, our support of the Forest Fire Fund will aid reforestation and help facilitate a healthy ecosystem recovery. Forest fires are increasingly larger and more intense due in part to climate change. Many of our communities have been impacted and we want to give back by planting trees where they are needed most. Giving back for impact, our gift is both symbolic and sustaining with long-lasting benefits for future generations. https://lnkd.in/gTC6H9gy Happy Holidays. #CorporateSocialResponsibility #Reforestation #Biodiversity #Cion

🌳 Make a Spring Donation: Support Tree Planting Along the Tanque Verde🌳 As spring unfolds across the Sonoran Desert, buoyed by generous winter rains, we at WMG are dedicated to cooling our cities through natural restoration and strategic planting. Our efforts are possible thanks to the generous support of our community, and this spring, we're embarking on an ambitious goal to raise $125,000 for our green infrastructure projects and educational programs. A generous donor has stepped forward with a $25,000 matching gift, offering a unique opportunity: your donation will be doubled, amplifying your impact. This season, our focus includes a novel restoration technique known as "pole planting." By using cuttings from native trees like willows and cottonwoods, we're enriching riparian zones along the Tanque Verde Creek, building upon our successes in the Cienega Creek watershed. These efforts are vital for creating cooling green infrastructure that's sustained by our precious rainwater. Your support fuels these initiatives. The River Run Network program, a cornerstone of our community engagement and restoration efforts, relies on donations. By investing in WMG, you're ensuring the continuation of vital work that cools our urban environments, conserves water, and nurtures local ecosystems. Join us this spring in a concerted effort to rejuvenate and protect our local watersheds. Our calendar is full of community events, classes, and projects of all kinds. Together, we can foster a cooler, greener, and more sustainable desert city. The Wirral Barn Owl Trust, founded in 1999, works to protect the declining barn owl population on the Wirral peninsula. After rising to 42 pairs by 2012, numbers have fallen again to 13 pairs, threatened by habitat loss and severe weather. Relying solely on donations, the Trust’s conservation efforts include installing nest boxes, monitoring owl activity, collaborating with farmers, and educating the public to secure a sustainable future for these iconic birds. In the latest round of Grants for Good, Wirral Barn Owl Trust has been granted £3,500 from John Good Group | Growing Businesses Together to help the charity with their current goal of replacing 25 damaged nest boxes with weather-resistant, eco-friendly boxes. S-E-A is going green in April to celebrate #EarthMonth! We are often witness to the aftermath of catastrophes that have an outsized impact on our environment. Hurricanes, wildfires and environmental accidents, to name a few, along with deforestation, destroy large swaths of our planet’s jungles and forests each year. This is why we are excited to bring back our One Matter. One Tree. campaign. Working with a non-profit organization that focuses on deforestation, for each case submitted from April 1st through the 30th, S-E-A will donate funds to plant a tree. One matter, one tree. We’re excited to give back for Earth Month through this initiative by helping to make our world a bit greener.
