One challenge when joining complex components is that the same clamping force is required at all points. Each weld is controlled individually with a parameterizable clamping module. In this example, four components are arranged on a rotary table side and are all processed simultaneously in one machine cycle by four individual clamping modules. Individual quality control is possible using the joining collapse monitoring integrated in the clamping module. We emphasize the importance of a simple setup concept in order to keep setup times as short as possible. A quick and intuitive tool change prevents unnecessary production downtimes and enables the problem-free production of different components on one machine.
