Introducing our new podcast series 'Sandbox' – each episode will feature our regular host, Andy Duncan, our Buro Happold experts, and a special guest. Sometimes we’ll tackle a subject head on, sometimes a sideways view - but always with curiosity, expertise and maybe even a dash of humour. The first episode ‘Troubled Waters’, is out now and the video below gives further insight into the series and the variety of topics that will be explored. In ‘Troubled Waters’, our guests discuss potential nationwide solutions for water management in the UK, and also suggest ways in which we as individuals can help in moving towards answers to this ever-increasing problem. Why not subscribe to the series and never miss an episode – You’ll find ‘Sandbox’ on all the usual platforms now, including Apple, Spotify and YouTube. After each episode, feel free to pose any questions and join the conversation using #BHSandbox on X (Twitter). On my travels over the last week I’ve been binge listening to the High Performance Podcast. Hosted by Jake Humphrey & Damian Hughes, the podcast explores the mindset, habits, and strategies of world-class performers across sports, business, and life. There’s nuggets of gold in every episode I’ve listened to so far. If you’re looking for personal growth and mindset tips or actionable strategies which help you be more effective in business - it’s a must listen! For me, one of the standout lessons is the idea that success isn’t an accident; it’s intentional. The podcast consistently reminds us that small, consistent actions—aligned with clear goals—are the foundation of greatness. It’s a fantastic resource for anyone aiming to improve both personally and professionally. Curious to know—what’s the most impactful podcast or book that’s shaped your approach to life and work? It was a very good idea to ask Ismeta Curkić-Mujagić, PhD for the podcast, our conversation was very insightful about one of the important elements to our species, if not the most important one, namely water. In the episode we discuss many issues related to water and the water cycle, the role of coastal forests and vegitation in general in relation to precipitation, some issues related to urbanization and how can we regenerate a landscape and much more. Links to episode 8 of the General Durability Podcast: YouTube: https://lnkd.in/e9WxAwF7 Spotify: https://lnkd.in/eXBDwCzP Substack: https://lnkd.in/euBTaGQQ I like the way Ismeta started her post, directelly with number 1, "found out my passion", this is very important especially if you would like to be innovative and find better understanding and even dare to bring new understanding & ideas into our world. It is not only a good thing to share useful knowledge, but it is a very bad thing if we do not do so. It is our responsibility to embark on the adventure of sinking the ships of ignorance and enlightening our fellow human beings with the understanding that can propel us forward towards a better future for ourselves and the wider living world. If you find this kind of information useful, please share it with others, we are facing major issues with water worldwide. Constructive criticism, recommendations and similar are very welcome :) Best wishes of health & wealth going into a new year to you & family as well as to our extended #humanfamily

7 steps how I got featured in my first podcast interview: 1. Found out my passion: water cycle restoration 2. Educated myself on landscape hydration 3. Helped people with what I know 4. Wrote about it on LinkedIn 5. Founded my company 6. Continued sharing & 7. Continue helping And then: An invitation to talk about water cycles! Thank you very much Othmane Wagdi for the wonderful conversation for the Garden Generator podcast. It was a pleasure to discuss about water cycles with you! P.S.: Do you listen to podcasts?
