I love the notion of "invisible PR" - that everything you do is PR. Steven Bartlett recently talked about this in a recent post. I used to think PR was just press releases and news articles, but it's actually just the complete perception of you and your business. Personal brand, social media, every interaction that someone has with your business = PR. Press releases (which is not what PR stands for, despite people using it incorrectly 🫠) are a way to shape your public image, but there are so many other ways to do this. Events Advertising Social media content Online interactions Face-to-face conversations It's all PR 🤷🏻♀️ #pr #socialmediamarketing #personalbranding
Love this
I could not agree more with this! 🙌🏻
I also think all that other stuff is becoming even more valuable as spaces to put press releases get less and less
🙌 You know, Hope! 👏

5moI think PR is also a bit like, when your Mum told you that it's what you are doing when people aren't watching that is more important than when people are watching!
