As a generalist, I appreciate big-picture views, connecting dots and uncovering the stories behind the scenes. It's probably why I was drawn to the business area I am in. It also explains why I too, have become a fan of the Acquired podcast 🎧. In a world of content made to cater to short attention spans - which, there's definitely a space for that - this quality, slow-speed content cuts through the self-fulfilling prophecy. If you're interested in the origin stories and business strategies of the largest companies like Nike, NVIDIA and Spotify, give it a listen. And if you're already a fan, I would love to hear your favourite episode. I struggle to pick just one! #businessinsights

What makes you feel fulfilled? Use the "Wheel of Life" to understand what you need to feel truly content. Follow these steps: 1️⃣ There are 8 areas on the wheel. Rate your current level of satisfaction from 1-10. 2️⃣ Think about what number would equal fulfillment for you. (You don't have to be a 10 in each area to be truly content.) 3️⃣ Compare the first number (your current rating of satisfaction) to the second number number (the rating that would equal true contentment.) 4️⃣ Identify which area, if shifted to your goal number, would be the most powerful to all the areas. Focus on that area of your life. "We can't fix everything all at once. That would be overwhelming," says Leah Smart, host of LinkedIn's Everyday Better podcast. "Focus on one thing that would be most impactful." Check out the #EverydayBetter episode on the Wheel of Life: 🎧 Apple: https://lnkd.in/gZ6HvtSg 🎧 Spotify: https://lnkd.in/gdD9QyeT
