Advancing the energy transition requires more than just technological innovation – it demands a joint effort between public and private actors. 🤝💡 Giovanna Pinilla De La Cruz’s doctoral dissertation explores the mechanisms that foster collaboration in the energy sector, highlighting the Vaasa region’s energy cluster as a successful example. – The GigaVaasa initiative offers a concrete example of this collaboration. The Nordic Energy Challenge 2024 is approaching its conclusion, with two out of three stages of the competition now completed. As many as seven project proposals made it through the first round. Now, these seven proposals shall be narrowed down to three finalists by the jury. #project The SPECTRUM project has officially launched in Lisbon, hosted by LNEG - Laboratorio de Energia. The project will develop #solar_collectors that make full use of the solar spectrum ☀ to produce #heat, #electricity, and #green_hydrogen, while also treating industrial #wastewater 💧. This combined approach supports European targets for #decarbonization, #energy efficiency, and sustainable #water_management.
