That's a wrap! Thank you to everyone who came to learn more about Oshen last Friday at the IET in London😊. Here's the most popular questions we were asked, and our answers: --- Q: How do we know what sea state the micro-vessels can last in? A: We've tested in up to 25kt constant winds, 40kt gusts, and sea states just beyond the 'small craft warning'⛵ that indicates our 25ft chase boat should no longer be at sea (On the rougher end of 'Moderate' for people familiar with the shipping forecast). When we have a larger fleet later this year we look forward to taking bigger risks with individual micro-vessels and sending them on more challenging missions! --- Q: Have we considered magnetic couplers? A: Yes, especially as it could preserve the mast mechanism if the sail experienced shock loads in harsh conditions (e.g from a breaking wave 🌊). However, our main design ethos is simplicity, and we're going with a simpler design at present that maintains high spring stiffness🪢in the mast while ensuring it's not brittle. --- Q: What other applications could the micro-vessels have? A: In the talk, we covered our most immediate work on Biodiversity monitoring with a focus on protected species observations with DEFRA🐬(more details on this later this month!). This is a big R&D focus for us at the moment, so expect a lot of information about using our micro-vessels for cetacean monitoring in coming months. However, there are other applications of our micro-vessel technology: MetOcean data for more accurate forecasts⛈️, visual observations for Maritime Domain Awareness, low-power oceanographic sensors for scientific research 🧪... if you'd to know more, get in touch! @ Anmol Singh Thankyou sir ! Thank you for everything. It's been an incredible journey with you sir.... As we know, every new beginning signifies the end of something else. Throughout our journey, we encounter many people—some good, some challenging. However, each person teaches us something valuable, and it's our perspective that defines the experience. Anmol bhaiya, you are one of the best person I've ever met. Your unwavering support, even when you were busy, has been invaluable to me. I’ve learned so much from you. To me, you are more than just a senior; you are a mentor and a friend. I fondly recall those nights when I was stuck and feeling helpless, saying, "Bhaiya, I can't do this." You were always there to guide me through, patiently explaining everything in detail. There are two kinds of people in this world: those who create problems and those who help solve them. You are undeniably the latter. I also cherish the times we spent brainstorming unique ideas for events. Every successful event has a strong team behind it, and you were always at the heart of ours. I still remember: - Your constructive criticism... - Your insightful lectures... - Your innovative thinking... - Your way of conveying important truths about people I was close to but didn't fully understand 😅 - Your sharp observations... - Your constant drive to do something different. From 0 to 350 team members.... in 16 months Hard to believe that Third Way Health started in one room with 10 amazing team members and only went fully operational in April 2023. Timm Schneider, Royce Cheng and I started with a simple mission: Revolutionize medical practice operations with a tech-enabled solution and become a trusted operational partners to healthcare operators. And then we got to work. 16 months later we handle hundreds of thousand patient calls every month through a centralized AI-enabled technology platform that creates a single front office engagement layer, support over 2 million members with various administrative processes, and have built a world-class, diverse, motivated team across 2 continents. Sometimes you don't realize all the progress you make until you look up (or take a video!). Healthcare is a team sport, and one of my biggest personal takeaways from this journey is the value of trusted partners (which we aspire to be for our clients). So this post would be incomplete without recognizing that none of this would have been possible without the vision and support of Brandon K. Sim, Chan B., and the entire Astrana Health organization, who believed in old-fashioned presentation decks printed on overly large legal paper and continue to help shape the vision of Third Way Health to this day. As we close out 2024, we're excited what's next - definitely just so, so much more opportunities to make healthcare just a tiny bit easier, hassle-free, and better for patients and all who serve them.

Thank you for all who voted and shared! I've to say I am not surprised with the results. Results were close as finding the right provider, who collects samples respecting all ethics and legal considerations certainly has an impact on the quality of the biospecimens. Finding the right provider for human biospecimens can be a challenging task. With thousands of biospecimen providers (academic and commercial biobanks, hospitals, clinical sites, brokers, etc) around the world, and new ones continually launching, companies face a daunting task to locate a provider that can provide the right high-quality sample needed for research. Ensuring the quality and authenticity of the specimens is paramount, requiring providers to maintain stringent ethical and regulatory standards. The variability in sample types, donor demographics, and the specific requirements of different research projects further complicates the selection process. Additionally, logistical issues such as timely delivery, proper storage conditions, and transparent communication with the provider can significantly impact the research outcomes. 3 lessons I've learned in 20+ years of being a commercial photographer. It's been an extraordinary ride filled with ups and downs, but I'm grateful for every experience that has shaped me along the way. Embracing new techniques, technologies, and trends keeps my work fresh and relevant. 2 - Relationships Matter: Building strong connections with clients, colleagues, and the creative community has been invaluable. Trust and collaboration lead to better projects and lasting partnerships. 3 - Passion Fuels Success: Loving what I do has been the driving force behind my career.
