Hey everyone, I wanted to share an interesting discussion I heard on the radio program "Muda luar biasa" owned by Radio Suara Surabaya. The debate was whether we should provide goods/services based on our "idealism" or according to market needs. One speaker mentioned that it's important to do both. Adapting to the market is crucial if you already have a business with employees, but you can still incorporate your idealism gradually without conflicting with market needs. Another speaker believed that the market should come first. By gaining the trust of the consumers, they can gradually align with your idealism over time. The third speaker emphasized the importance of prioritizing the market to ensure the well-being of employees. They also highlighted the need for idealism to be non-harmful to others. After hearing these varying perspectives, I realized that while I am strongly committed to my idealism, I understand the necessity of catering to market needs in order to sustain a business. It's a challenging balance, but my plan is to strive for both. I aim to align with market preferences while implementing my idealism in a way that can be accepted through marketing and projects. It's definitely not easy to change the market's opinion, but I believe that persistence will be key to achieving this balance. What are your thoughts on this? Approaching Media Remotely from Malang The company I work for is based in Malang and Surabaya, East Java. Over the past year, both companies, Jagoan Hosting Indonesia and Mebiso, have actively carried out various activities and collaborations in several cities, including Kendari, Central Kalimantan, Bandung, Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Semarang, and many more. To support these efforts, I created press releases aimed at increasing awareness. I personally approached media outlets in these regions directly. I identified local reporters or media contributors in each area and shared press releases from Malang, East Java. I engaged with them to provide insights about the company I work for and the activities we carry out.
