These included husbands of Natural Leaders, family members, and ward representatives. The training also aimed to expand participants' understanding of critical issues such as sexual and reproductive health and rights and climate change. Men and boys play a pivotal role in expanding access to SRHR by actively challenging societal norms, supporting women's choices, and advocating for equitable practices within their families and communities. This involvement not only amplifies much-needed SRHR initiatives in their outreach but also fosters respect for creating an environment that lets each individual lead a healthy, empowered life. #SRHR #MenAndBoys #IpasNepal #SustainableSRHREcosystem #Gender #ClimateChange

Collaboration between all stakeholders is key to positive change in #healthcare from a #gender perspective! We mark #IWD2024 with three key takeaways from the roundtable “Gender Lens in NCD Care Delivery” organized as part of the global activities in March: ✔ Informative sessions for healthcare professionals to further the understanding of gender concepts. ✔ Community engagement and education via civil society organizations and media. ✔ Recognizing and defending rights bridge the gap between laws and their implementation. Together, we can reshape mindsets. #GenderInHealthcare #CollaborativeAction #AcOnNCDs 𝐼𝑚𝑎𝑔𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝐴𝐼-𝑔𝑒𝑛𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑑.

Media often locks men into leadership roles and women into caregiving, reinforcing outdated norms. To challenge these narratives, we must understand their origins and impact. Enroll in the "Gender and Mass Media" module at ASAP Academy to learn how stereotypes are perpetuated—and how we can challenge them for a more inclusive future. 🚀👩💼 #SRHR #abortionrights #safeabortion #genderrights #massmedia #feministadvocacy

In an era where #equitable and #GenderInclusive healthcare is a key focus, it's vital to foster open, informed discussions that bridge #knowledgegaps and promote understanding. These conversations are essential for supporting gender-diverse individuals and creating a more inclusive society where everyone can access appropriate care. Association for Transgender Health in India and #ECHOIndia hosted a vital session on the intersection of #transgender rights and #healthcare under the new #BhartiyaNyayaSanhita (BNS). The event focused on how #BNS affects medical care and laws for transgender and #gender-diverse individuals, providing crucial insights for healthcare providers. Speaker Ms. Varsha Gulaya, Assistant Professor at Hamdard Institute of Legal Studies and Research (HILSR), Jamia Hamdard, and Adv. Padma Lakshmi, through a case presentation, highlighted the need for ongoing education and awareness in the medical community to better serve all members of society, regardless of #GenderIdentity. #TransgenderRights #InclusiveHealthcare #ATHIECHO #MovingKnowledgeNotPeople #AllTeachAllLearn #GenderEquity
