Here is the latest from our longitudinal ethnography healthcare project called HealthImmersion - www.dighealthimmersion.com On our recent return ethnography to Elaine, one of our Type 2 Diabetes respondents, she made a great point: "Sometimes you wonder what’s the purpose in a doctor going to school to get all this training and they’re not going to share the knowledge with the patient." Patients yearn for a transparent, two-way, honest relationship with their doctors. However, many feel shortchanged by doctors and healthcare workers who don't provide them with all of the knowledge they need to manage their conditions. Give me a shout if you are interested in joining HealthImmersion or learning more about our longitudinal ethnography healthcare project. https://lnkd.in/dViq3gM6

Medical Laboratory Sciences in Government Healthcare Medical laboratory professionals are the unsung heroes of our healthcare systems, especially within government hospitals. Every diagnosis, treatment decision, and public health initiative begins with the critical work we do behind the scenes. From analyzing samples to diagnosing diseases, we uphold accuracy and reliability as our core values. In government hospitals, where the demand is high and resources are often stretched, our work ensures equitable access to life-saving diagnostics for all. The challenges are many—rising patient loads, limited budgets, and the need for advanced equipment—but so are the rewards. Each test result contributes to the bigger picture of patient care and public health. To my fellow professionals, let’s continue striving for excellence, innovation, and collaboration. Our work isn’t just about machines and data; it’s about impacting lives. Here’s to advancing medical laboratory sciences and strengthening healthcare for everyone! #MedicalLaboratoryScience #GovernmentHealthcare #Diagnostics #HealthcareInnovation #PublicHealth
