Prognostic Significance of Tertiary Lymphoid Structures and Tumour-Infiltrating Lymphocytes in Clear Cell Renal Carcinoma A study investigated the characteristics and clinical significance of tertiary lymphoid structures (TLSs) and tumour-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) across 1,286 patients. TLSs were present in 16% of tumours and associated with improved survival and therapy response, particularly when mature and dense. Conversely, high infiltration of scattered TILs predicted poor prognosis. The study highlighted the importance of immune infiltration patterns, showing that mature TLSs correlate with decreased relapse and death risks, whereas high TILs indicate worse outcomes, revealing complex immune dynamics in ccRCC. Multiple myeloma, often simply referred to as myeloma, is a type of cancer that affects plasma cells, a type of white blood cell found in the bone marrow. In myeloma, abnormal plasma cells multiply uncontrollably, crowding out healthy blood cells in the bone marrow and interfering with the production of normal blood cells. Key findings from the research: 🔬 Low Risk of Secondary Tumors Only 6.5% of patients experienced secondary blood cancers within 3 years post-therapy. 🩺 In-Depth Case Analysis One fatal T-cell lymphoma case was linked to immunosuppression rather than the CAR T cells themselves. 🧬 Molecular Insights Distinct T-cell profiles, Epstein-Barr virus presence, and DNMT3A, TET2 mutations were identified. 🧪 No Retroviral Integration No evidence of oncogenic retroviral integration causing the secondary lymphoma. 🔍 Monitoring Framework A robust method for post-therapy monitoring to identify patients at higher risk for secondary cancers. T cells secreting anti-CD3/GD2 bi-specific antibodies show encouraging outcomes in pediatric cancers In a phase I/II study, anti-CD3×anti-GD2 bispecific antibody armed T cells (GD2BATs) showed safety up to 160×106 cells/kg/infusion in children with neuroblastoma (NB), osteosarcoma, and desmoplastic small round cell tumors. Cytokine release syndrome was manageable, with minimal GD2-antibody-associated pain. Median overall survival was 21.1 months, with some patients experiencing clinical benefit, including complete bone marrow response in NB. I have understood that it also has to do with the fact that stemcells have to be cleared out from toxins.The only way to do that is to make sure to drink water that is charged differently. The stemcell can detoxify then and from then on produce healthy cells.Seems lije a simple solution but is quite logical once you read into it.There is a book about it.
