THE REALITY (STRESS) OF DECISION MAKING No discussion about decision-making is complete without mentioning Captain Sullenberger, who landed US flight 1549 on the Hudson River on January 15, 2009, saving countless lives (Recreated in the movie "Sully"). Despite thorough thought, consultation, and risk management, outcomes are uncertain. Decisions can go wrong, and sometimes, there's no possibility for course correction. Leaders must learn to live with the stress and burden of their decisions, gradually coming to terms with this reality.
