🌟 Reflecting on a Meaningful Experience 🌟 This Wednesday, I had the privilege of attending The National Disability Inclusion Roundtable™ in #Nashville. It was an inspiring day filled with meaningful conversations and valuable insights from incredible individuals who are deeply committed to advancing DEI efforts, with a focus on disability inclusion. The discussions were not only enlightening but also a powerful reminder of the work still needed to break down barriers—especially when it comes to "invisible" disabilities. A question to consider: What unconscious or conscious biases might we hold about disabilities, particularly those we can't see? These biases affect millions of individuals, many of whom navigate the workplace in silence—or struggle to access it in the first place. Let’s continue the conversation and strive to create workplaces where everyone, regardless of ability, feels seen, valued, and supported.
