Last week, I had the opportunity to attend the 4-day #WindEnergy conference in Hamburg focused on everything that has any connection to offshore wind power, where I along with my colleagues Peter Busch Nielsen, Daniel Noermark, Tim Fischer, Andreas Willecke, Sonja Voigt, Denis Matha and many others represented Wind and OSS for Ramboll. It was an inspiring and informative event, bringing together industry leaders to discuss the future of #renewable #energy and #sustainable practices in Offshore Wind. Key takeaways for me included: - Floating wind energy is emerging on the horizon - The drive to achieve carbon-neutral energy production is greater than ever and we have multiple markets trying to tag along - The market for offshore wind is ever-increasing and will do so for the next few years - Supply chain recovery and stability is one of the determining factors of success over the next few years - Offshore Substations keep playing a vital role in harvesting large scale Windpower The networking opportunities were invaluable to me and I'm looking forward to applying what we've learned and continuing the conversations with both old and new connections! #OffshoreEnergy #EnergyTransition #Ramboll #Sustainability #OffshoreSubstations #Renewables
