The USPS will implement a postage price change effective July 14, 2024. The USPS has been raising postage costs every six months, with no signs of this trend ending soon. The approved adjustments by the Postal Service governors will increase mailing service prices by approximately 7.8%. 📬 Important USPS Postage Update On April 9, the United States Postal Service (USPS) announced it filed a notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) regarding #mailing services price and rate changes. Effective July 14, 2024, #USPS rates will increase by an average of 7.75%. Notably, Flat Mail Types will experience higher increases, with Marketing Mail - Catalogs rising by about 7.9%, Flats by about 9.0%, and Letters by about 7.5%, based on processing specifics. Additionally, the IMB Full-Service Discount is increasing from $0.003 to $0.005 per piece, alongside a new $0.001 Catalog Incentive discount. These changes, part of the USPS's Delivering for America 10-year plan, aim to maintain financial stability while keeping rates competitive globally.
