I just came across an article about hackers stealing billions of Social Security numbers in the US, and it got me thinking about how we handle our data security here in the UK. Whilst we don’t have Social Security numbers, the issue is the same—our personal and business data is a major target for cybercriminals. As someone who works in IT support, here’s a bit of advice: make sure you’re doing the basics to protect yourself - simple things like using unique passwords, enabling two-factor authentication, and keeping your software up to date. These are just basic things anyone can do, but they are really effective in protecting your business. Check out the article below and let me know what you think. https://lnkd.in/evUzwkjc Also, if you run a business and you’re looking for help with your cyber security strategy, call JamCrackers on 01525 33160 or visit the website at www.jamcrackers.co.uk #CyberSecurity #DataProtection #ITSupport #UKBusiness #DigitalSafety #LeightonBuzzard #BusinessIT
