Does being a good neighbour mean doing different things for different people, in different built environments? It does, and if we intend to create prosocial cities for Canada's future, we have some work to do to understand and support better neighbouring. This article presents focus group research with community housing residents in Metro Vancouver.

The housing crisis isn't just a statistic—it's a reality for far too many individuals and families in Calgary. Their stories, struggles, and resilience deserve to be heard.  @globalnews has highlighted the struggles of individuals living without a home in Calgary while they endure extended waits for affordable housing. Calgary’s goal is to increase the availability of affordable housing within the city, and it is commencing efforts to implement its newly approved housing plan. Let's take action. Here are 5 ways to advocate for affordable housing: 1️⃣ Community Action: Mobilize your community through rallies and meetings to raise awareness. 2️⃣ Policy Support: Lobby officials for zoning reforms and increased funding for affordable housing. 3️⃣ Education: Spread the word about the importance of affordable housing through social media and workshops. 4️⃣ Support local shelters. 5️⃣ Extend a helping hand.
