PA is at a crossroads when it comes to housing. With some of the oldest housing stock in the nation, aging population, and significant affordability gaps driven in part by stagnant wages and a lack of supply, the time to act is now. States across the country are making bold investments in housing to address similar challenges, and PA can't afford to fall further behind. By engaging in the PA Housing Action Plan, we have a chance to ensure that PA keeps pace, providing safe, affordable, and quality housing for all. We need a housing strategy that reflects the urgency of these issues. By investing in housing, we can create more than just homes--we can drive economic growth, support aging-in-place initiatives, and revitalize communities!
