Help’s Expertise Shared in Inclusive Workplace Panel Discussion
Help's David Avery, and Supported Employee Jackson participated in a panel discussion on inclusive workplaces at a recent My Story event at McCullough Robertson. David shared valuable insights on creating safe and supportive environments for employees with disability.
“Offering an inclusive environment where people with disability can thrive is more than providing physical modifications. It’s about creating a space where they feel safe to share their disability and the support they need”, said David.
At Help, we understand that creating an inclusive environment is a company-wide commitment. We are proud to share our expertise with employers who want to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
“Everything that leaders and employers say in conversations, or team meetings shapes the environment for people with disability to feel safe or not. It’s important to remember that most disabilities are not visible, so true inclusivity requires a wholehearted commitment,” added David.
Thanks to McCullough Robertson for giving us the opportunity to share our story and knowledge.
