With the generous support of the National Payments Corporation Of India (NPCI) through its CSR initiative, a new mini science centre has been established at Govt. Middle School. This centre is revolutionizing the way students engage with scientific concepts, making learning more interactive and impactful. . One of the standout features of this centre is the Newton's disk exhibit. This simple yet powerful tool vividly demonstrates the composition of white light, showing how it is made up of seven distinct colors. As the disk spins, students witness the merging of colors, which concretely illustrates the concept of light dispersion. . This hands-on approach not only makes complex scientific principles more accessible but also ignites curiosity and enthusiasm among students. By integrating these practical models into the curriculum, the mini science centre enables a deeper and more engaging understanding of science. . The impactful work is being carried out at Kanaya High School in Panjreh, Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. In this centre, students engage with a variety of hands-on models, including the captivating Floating Magnets. This interactive learning tool not only enhances their understanding of magnetic forces but also stimulates their curiosity and love for science. These institutions attract top-tier faculty and students from Haryana as well as Delhi NCR, enhancing the city's academic reputation. #5. As someone deeply invested in the field of education, I am genuinely concerned about recent remarks made by our Hon'ble Chief Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, regarding USTM (University of Science and Technology Meghalaya) and its alumni. USTM is a UGC-recognized institution with an NAAC A grade and is active in the NIRF rankings. These achievements highlight the university's commitment to providing quality education. The suggestion that USTM alumni will not be allowed to sit for Assam Government exams is troubling. It not only questions the credibility of a recognized institution but also risks crushing the dreams of many hardworking students. Moreover, the idea of organizing separate exams for graduates from universities outside Assam raises serious concerns. This could unfairly divide students based on where they studied, rather than focusing on their abilities and merits. In other states, like Bihar, the government supports higher education by offering student credit cards for those attending NAAC-accredited institutions, promoting access to quality education. But here in Assam, it feels like we're moving in the opposite direction, potentially limiting opportunities for our students. Unlike states such as Uttarakhand, where I currently work, Assam has fewer private colleges and universities. I still remember when I was pursuing my B.Pharm from Assam University, Silchar (a central university), only two private universities were offering this course at the time. The entire state of Assam produced only 120 new B.Pharm graduates, including those from Assam University, Dibrugarh University, and two private institutions. While the number of private institutions has increased recently, it's still not up to the mark. This raises a fundamental question: Is Assam's education policy out of sync with the rest of the nation? Education should be a tool that empowers our youth, not a barrier that holds them back. Our policies should ensure that all students, regardless of where they choose to study, have equal opportunities to succeed and contribute to the development of our state. It's crucial that we work towards a fair and equitable education policy in Assam that aligns with national standards. Let's ensure that our students have the freedom to pursue the best educational opportunities available to them, without fear of discrimination. Ultimately, this pursuit leads to the attainment of true knowledge and liberation, fulfilling one's desires. Reflecting on this profound wisdom, I recently completed the LinkedIn course from VNSGU, a journey brimming with insights and growth. Under the mentorship of Gautam Dua, PhD, Principal of Agarwal Vidya Vihar English Medium College, I delved deep into the nuances of professional networking as i meet many new people Shivraj Neolia as is in NCC, Mansi _avvian who is a graphic designer, Rushabh Sindhav who works at Google and personal development. This course wasn't just about acquiring new skills; it was a transformative experience that broadened my perspective and ignited a thirst for continuous learning. Gautam Dua, PhD guidance was instrumental, steering me through the complexities of the course and instilling in me a passion for lifelong learning.
