Tonia, one of EKCEP's Job Entry and Retention Support Specialists, learned about an issue at a local sober living house. James and one of his housemates were sharing just one pair of work boots: one person wore the boots for the first shift, and the other wore the same boots on the second shift. Seeing this immediate need, Tonia sprang into action and brought the men in this house 11 pairs of work boots–and 11 pairs of pants for good measure. This ensured that each man in the home could fulfill his responsibilities without relying on others for basic necessities. These boots and pants not only support their work readiness but also boost their confidence and dignity. At EKCEP, we believe in offering comprehensive support for those in recovery, tackling not just the big challenges but also the small details that make a big difference in day-to-day life. If you're on a journey of recovery and facing obstacles that keep you from fulfilling your potential, we're here to help lift those barriers. Contact your local Job Entry and Recovery Support Specialist through ekcep.org/recovery and take a step towards transforming your life. Together, let's build a foundation for success.

Here we are at the beginning of week 8 at Emano Flow, and I have some thoughts to share. For all of you out there on the job hunt right now: during my long unemployment I heard from a lot of very reputable people that I needed to do x,y, or z, or not do a, b and c in order to get the job. And at the end of the day, getting a job, the right job, is all about being exactly who you are. If you’re bringing anything but that - if anyone is telling you to bring anything but that - it’s not the way I would go. I turned myself inside out to try to do or not do all the things I was being told, and all it got me was exhaustion and a feeling of complete worthlessness. If you get a job based on things you changed about yourself or your true abilities…I don’t think you’ll end up being happy in that job. Put your best foot forward, for sure. But don’t put someone else’s foot forward. Be you. The job you get will be the right one, at the right time, and if you’re anything like me you will feel valued and valuable, and excited to have a job where your skills are seen and used well, and you’re excited to start the day. Truly. Anything but that seems like a waste. Hang in there, and be yourself. The job will come.

You've just landed a new role with a new organisation, based on the results you delivered in your previous place of work. On settling in, you realize they don't have the systems or processes in place that enabled you to achieve those results. What do you do?

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗮 With nearly a year of experience at Fosacha, Richard Pham has been on a journey of growth and learning within the world of fresh produce. It was nice to learn more about him in this short chat 🤗 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗮? Absolutely! Working at FSC has been quite the journey over the past year. I've had the opportunity to dive into various aspects of our operations, from analyzing markets to managing supply chains and nurturing client relationships. It's been incredibly enlightening, and I've learned so much about navigating dynamic markets and applying what I learned to real situations. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁, 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲? My approach involves a lot of research and networking. I make sure to dig into the economic landscape, regulations, and who we're up against. But it's not just about the numbers; understanding the culture and building relationships with local contacts is key. 𝗜𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀? For me, genuine connection and trust are my go-to plan. I make sure to stay in regular communication, really listen to their needs, and go the extra mile to provide value. Whether it's sharing industry insights or just lending an empathetic ear, I'm always looking for ways to show our clients that we're here for them for the long haul. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀? It's all about quick assessment, clear communication, and rallying the team to tackle the issue head-on. We lean on each other, adapt as needed, and always keep our focus on finding solutions. I believe every crisis is a learning challenge so I make sure to prepare for whatever comes our way next. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗤𝟮 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰? I'm really excited, to be honest. We're aiming to ramp up sales of our key tropical fruits in pretty strict markets like Australia and NZ, which is going to be a fun challenge. The #Lychee proves to be this summer's best-seller, and our #Coconut is always available. Also, sustaining those important client relationships is always top of my mind. It's shaping up to be a busy but rewarding quarter! If you'd like to learn more or have any inquiries about our products, reach out to me at Email: richard.pham@fosacha.com Phone: (+84)869588817. Looking forward to connecting with you! #interview #fosacha #accountmanager #fruitexport #export #australia #newzealand #southeastasia #humanresource

Some times your struggles in a particular direction doesn't become fruitful۔۔۔despite investing all of your energies٫ money and time٫ nothing seems getting productive. Sometimes it looks that٫ your life is ended up in the blind ally and you're struck between the fire and the well۔۔۔ Doesn't it seems deadly hopeless? Of course yes! I think this is the point where we've to change the conventional way of thinking. Things are predestined to happen in our lives. May be we're struggling in the wrong direction. May be the direction we're struggling in٫ is quite harmful and could be deadliest for the very being of us. This is the point where we have to adopt the next level approach. May be we need to divert the dimensions of our journey٫ to divorce our field٫ to get ride of the stereotypes or to change the whole of our mind-set. We need to think twice. It's the nature signaling us. It's the nature changing us. And it's the nature leading us. All we need٫ is to accept the change. @Anita۔۔۔EFU representative.
